What you actually get
One to three days, and then years
We grind the slab, patch what needs patching, lay the system and seal it. Then we come off your driveway and you get a sheet telling you how to keep it.
Maintenance
The finished surface is non-porous. Upkeep is a mop, or a light pressure wash on outdoor work.
The limit
A coating is only as good as the slab under it. If the slab tests wet, we say so before we quote. We tell you what it costs to fix rather than coating over it.

How a home job runs
What actually happens at your house
Five stages, one crew, a written price and a date before we start.
Why this is not a weekend job
A standard DIY kit etches the concrete with acid instead of grinding it. The concrete underneath is never properly prepared, so the coating comes up in one to three years. Grinding it properly takes a machine over a thousand pounds. Plugging that into a socket in your house is an electrical problem, not a flooring one. That is the whole difference, and it is the reason our crews run the machines that do it properly.
You pick a system, then a collection, then a finish
Start with what the space has to take. A garage that holds a car and a pool deck that gets wet do not take the same system. Color and finish options are reviewed during the consultation.
We test the slab before anybody quotes
Moisture is what makes coatings fail, so it gets tested before anybody quotes a number.
You get a written price and a date
System, finish, prep, the days we are on site and the price, in writing, before we start.
We grind, lay and seal
Grinding with dust containment, then the base coat, then the broadcast, then the top coat.
We hand it back with a maintenance sheet
You get the sheet on the last day and it tells you what to use and what to keep off it.

Straight Answers
Most homes are done in one to three days on site. After the last coat the floor needs time before you walk on it, and longer before you park on it. You get both dates in writing before we start.
A home or garage floor is quoted from the measured area, the prep the slab needs and the system you pick. We measure the space and test the slab on site, so the written price comes after we see the floor and before any work starts.
You get one number to call and one person who answers for your job. The days we are on site are in the written price before we start. If the date moves, we let you know the same day.
Yes. We grind the slab, so it has to be bare. Cars, shelving, fridges and boxes all come out before day one. If a unit is plumbed in or too heavy to move, tell us when we walk the floor. We will work out who moves it. Nothing gets shifted without you knowing.
Direct sun ambers a clear epoxy top coat over time. Hot tires lift a coating that was never properly ground in, which is what happens to acid-etched kits. Both come down to prep and to the top coat. Tell us whether the floor is under a roof or in open sun and we will tell you what goes down.
No. Anything that is lifting comes off first, down to bare concrete. Taking old coatings off is part of our scope. We take off glue, mastic and thinset too. Coating over a failing floor buys you a year and then the same problem.
